tonight was our concluding concert of jr. high.

it was the last night that i will wear my choir dress.

the night began with doing homework with (the wonderful) sarah michelle.

we then got in our long, black dresses and with a bite to eat we were off.

we hurried in and we immediately swarmed with heat!

my goodness. who knew that it good get so hot!

we practiced our songs and soon it was our turn.

first we sang jesu joy (i kinda loathe that song... talk about long and BORING, but awh well!)

then we sang Sunshine in My Soul.

i was so nervous.

i'm very glad that i got to play piano for it though!

i love that song.

energy.

happiness.

then the snow (what joy?)

that was all that mr.manning announced...

and then.

he decided to have us sing... THAT'S ENOUGH!

SURPRISE!

ha. it was great.

i'm thrilled to have been able to sing it at least one more time!

but i was still nervous.

it went good though!

and the best part was that me. and mike. were both wearing bright blue shoes.

LOVE IT! :)

we're truly telepathic.

it's fantastic.

and then we sang in rememberance which i love <3

kylee kerby is an amazing pianst. my goodness!

next were...

the amazing. the handsome. the wonderful. the MEN! ;)

Flashback!

today during school i had to miss seminary :(

it was because i had to go and play defying gravity for the concert choir.

sarah was my page turner.

and i had promised chels she could come along.

so i couldn't disappoint either of them..

so i told brother woodhouse, "i need to go and play piano for the concert choir today.. so i'm going to have to leave a bit earlier... and i'm going to need two page turners... just in case one of them passes out! :)"

at first he pretended to believe us (which was funny)

but then... of course (since brother woodhouse is the best!) he let both of them come with me!

so we went off and had a party!

and during it we asked if we could have a back stage pass to watch the boys!

(and this comes to the point!)

he said that we could come and watch back stage!

now back to the story.

The boys were going on and chelsy, sarah, and i were all talking with each other wanting to go out.

the only problem was the parents in the halls.

so we weren't sure if they'd let us go in and watch.

we went to the door and were about to go in when one of the mom's started coming toward us.

we didn't think she'd let us... so we were kind of just talking to her trying to hint that we wanted to go in..

but. it was unsuccessful.

i had been needing to go. and so i said.. i really need to go!

i'll be back in a bit.

and chelsy asked if i wanted her to come with me.

and of course i did!

so she came

(and sarah didn't :( which was sad)

and i shared my genius plan with chels.

i told her that we could go and check the side doors and then go in there...

and guess what! they were unlocked!

so we went in and got to watch them sing my favorite song! Hey There Delilah

it really makes me melt!

i love it!

we were watching and a boy looked over and saw us and we gave smiled at him

then Another Boy! :) looked at us!

and i gave him a thumbs up like he always does to me when i'm singing <3

and he gave me the most wonderful, big smile!

it was so cute! :)

to make things better i accidentally knocked something over when chels told me to step back!

ha. it was funny.

the rest of the concert was great as well.

someone's watching over me was great.

defying gravity piano playing was pretty good. :)

and boyfriend's back was funny as usual.

and when we all sang together... you raise me up.

i cried. the dedications were so amazing! and it was so amazing!

what a good way to end the night. <3

i love choir and i'm going to miss chamber so much!

Spring Break: Day 1

Day 1: Success!

Today was amazing!

I got to go snow skiing with my wonderful friend...

What fun we had!

We made new friends with Brits!

What amazing accents they have!

I absolutley love it!

We even found some cute ones (:

And we ate lunch surrounded by the sea of the girl's pink jackets!

We asked them questions...

And we found out that...

• They were from England.
• That they came to Utah to ski... For SCHOOL!
• That they were ages 12-16
• That their school was a private school

and we just kept enjoying their accent more and more as we talked to them!

Another fun adventure we had was building snowmen!

We built one off to the side of the run while waiting for my mom and sister to catch up..

And luckily I had an extra scarf and hat to complete it!

We named him Sam(:

(Or Scott.. but I think we decided that Sam fit more!)

When we were about to leave and were waiting for my mommy...

we built ANOTHER snowman!

We built it right on the edge of the roof of the Brighton Center(:

Spring Break

Spring Break is here!
Off to St. George tomorrow...
With my best friend, Sarah!
Oh I can't even wait!
It will be grand!

Last night was fun filled!
It all began by going to the rec center with Maddie. We went and had lots of fun working out! We then went to Maddie's house where we created a list of items for our bucket list. We got lots of ideas, but we still need more! Then we doodled and had fun together. Once Kendelle showed up to babysit, Maddie biked and I ran to my house where we grabbed my bike. Then we biked all the way up 1100! As we were going up the hill we kept looking back to see how far we'd come, and you wouldn't realize.. but it's a LONG way! We were headed to Rachel's house and when we were pretty far up, it started to rain and snow; we still had a way to go in the cold, but we made it! We then went over to Drake's house where we watched Avatar: The Last Airbender. We discovered that Cole and Drake have watched ever single episode, have memorized the theme song, and can pretty much quote all of the lines! They both got so into it! It was the greatest! I also got to meet Drake's adorable little brother Mason. He pretty much became my bud by the end of the night! I even got to hold his Nemo AND his blankie! What a cutie! :) After a long and exciting night, it was good to slip in bed and fall asleep!
